The people of Baubau, like many communities in Indonesia, have local wisdom that is rich in traditional values. The value of local wisdom that underlies the life principles of the Baubau community is philosophically recognized through several stages, namely: (1) The planning stage, conducted through counseling related to efforts to increase understanding of the urgency of waste management. In this case, it is related to clean living behavior in the community environment, including the teaching in Islam that cleanliness is part of faith; (2) The implementation stage of local wisdom values in the social aspect contains noble values based on Islamic law. This means that the description in it includes character or akhlakul jariah, which in kabanti is given the term budiman. It is also included in the community motto, "bholimo arata sumanamo karo, bholimo karo sumanamo Lipu, bolimo Liu sumanamo agama" which means 'No need for treasures that are important to be safe, no need for self that is important for the country to remain intact, no need for the country that is important for religion to be upheld'; (3) The supervision stage is carried out to ensure that the implementation stage goes as planned by referring to the values and meanings in Kabanti Oni Wolio and Kabanti Ajonga Inda Malusa which reveal many things related to life in society; (4) The evaluation stage is to provide an assessment of all activities that have been carried out in all stages. This is done by relying on the bhinci-bhinciki kuli philosophy that shapes the community to live in peace, cooperate, help, empathize, even though the Buton community is a multi-ethnic community.
